Nevada Review

Offensive Player of the Game: Seth Doege QB

I almost chose Eric Stephens, but Doege's 83 rushing yards was the most by a Tech QB in a single game since Zebbie Lethridge in 1997.

TXST: Darrin Moore WR
UNM: Seth Doege QB

Defensive Player of the Game: Sam Eguavoen LB

The defensive was less than stellar to say the least, but Eguavoen made some good plays near the line of scrimmage.

TXST: Blake Dees LB
UNM: Cody Davis S

Special Teams Player of the Game: Ben McRoy KR

McRoy had over 200 return yards and set up Tech with great field position for the final drive.

Offensive Play of the Game:

On 4th and Goal Seth Doege scrambled and found Eric Ward in the back of the endzone for the game winning TD

Defensive Play of the Game:

Kerry Hyder sacked Tyler Lantrip on 4th down to seal the game for Tech

Blooper of the Game:

What looked like a potential kick return for a touchdown was ended when returner Ben McRoy tripped himself and fell down.
